Once your location has been chosen, contracts have been written, signed & exchanged,
now comes the day of the filming / photography.
What the hirer requires of the location owner is pretty straight forward:
1) They need prompt access to the location at the exact times agreed.
2) They need to find the location as it was seen on the recces - if you planned to
re-decorate, start building works or change furniture / fittings between the recce and
the day of hire the company need to know!
3) They need to find the location clean and clear of normal family day to day mess
(washing up, laundry etc.) so they can get straight on with their work - time is money!
4) They need to get on without interference. Its perfectly understandable to keep an eye
on things throughout the hire day but try to be discreet. If you have any concerns speak
to the location manager or producer or ring us!
5) If you intend to go out during the day make sure the location manager or producer has
a contact telephone number he can reach you on in case they need to ask questions about
the location.
6) Finally at the end of the hire they need the location owner or somebody representing
them to be on site as they are leaving to tell them what goes back where and confirm that
they are happy with the state & condition of your location at the end of the hire.
